I'm going to make a chicken and veggie stir fry for this evening. Onion, garlic, ginger, carrots, green beans, courgettes, mushrooms, white cabbage, celery, frsh coriander and whatever else there may be lying around in the fridge.

I'm just doing short sessions in the garden and the current job (will take me days) is to clear the leaves from the beds that have the snowdrops in. I can't even use the little hand rake as it may damage them. I did about 20sq ft yesterday and lifted the leaves carefully. It was good that I did that as I found a lot of little loose snowdrops on the surface. I've picked them up carefully and planted them in another bed - about 20 so far. It's a 'frozen fingers' job.

Good morning @Flumpy my good friend and all my other friends have a lovely Sunday and stay safe,I have just returned from taking Penny out for our morning constitutional and it was most enjoyable cold but a brisk walk was needed,enjoy your day and stay safe my friends

 

Hello @Flumpy my friend no time to rest have to prepare Sunday lunch ,just put the chicken in the oven,then I have some leaves to sweep up and the aviary to clean out ,feed and water the budgies,

 

@Flumpy I always wear gloves in the garden, even for mowing. Sorry there's only one time I don't wear gloves and that is when picking beans.

Food, one of my favourite subjects and I shall be cooking rib of beef (off the bone) as I got some on offer (£6 per kilo) before Christmas when everybody seemed to be buying turkey.

 

Is it cooked or raw? What cut of chicken?

Curry, stir fry with veg, chicken fried rice with egg, or noodles with soy and veg...
