      Just looking on facebook, yeah I know, but its on my local surgery page and they haven't even started on anyone yet.
      They are still negotiating with other practices to get one of those to do the jabs for the patients that use the same surgery as me.
      Apparently most in the area appear to have done all their over 80s and are moving down the list, but my place doesn't appear to have done anyone yet.

                  Well, Jenny, unless you want Boris to come down and give you the Jab personally, I fail to see what he can do. The NHS is the organisation sorting out what vaccines go where and here in the North and Midlands they seem to be doing a grand job. So, your MP should have had it sorted by working with the NHS regarding vaccine distribution as soon as it became available weeks ago.:dunno:

                    I rather suspect there was not a surge of people taking a 'local' walk, with or without a dog, picnickers, etc., who caused this surge in infections around Xmas, and it might have been due the Xmas shopping crowds and families/friends having numerous indoor meet ups and parties that are to blame.

                    And it'll get worse because of all the Boxing Day to New Year's meet ups and parties that you could see happening just by looking out your window or walking down tbe street.

                      I don't think anyone has said that that was the prime cause of rate of infections we're seeing now, Scrungee,:dunno: and you're right, it's more likely to be the actions of people not keeping a social, safe distance and/or not wearing a mask.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:
