      Have a lot of sparrows here , they sit in the beech hedge waiting until you put the food out . I can sit in the GH with the door open they don't seem to notice me even though I am only 3ft away, I have to evict them from the GH now and again.

        @mazambo lovely :wub2:. Your garden sounds just like mine. I have a resident flock of Sparrows. They are one of my favourite birds :)

        I remember the rien de rien one more.

        Not the most colourful or varied in song but I'm glad they're thriving and probably the same as yourself I get the pleasure of hearing it in the morning and at night when they're settling down.
