8c damp and windy

 

The wind have really picked up now and I can hear it racing around the house and through the trees, the last storm brought down a nearby Oak Tree. Winds are set to reach 40mph this evening.

 

Heavy rain showers and moderate winds from the south south west temp 9c feels like 7c. Milder than what it was.

 

Mostly dry with just the odd spot of drizzle.

We've had two glorious days of warm sunshine, after a frosty start. Wind will get up tonight from the south, so temps up to 14C, min 6C. More rain on it's way tomorrow night

 

Yeah, but what's the weather like?

 

It felt a bit like the North Pole here today @Upsydaisy and @Logan, but I suppose I'm not too far from it really.

An overnight frost remained all day. The sky showed the occasional patch of blue with a little sunshine this morning, but reverted to grey early afternoon. -1C/30F

 

Another mild (31f) but cloudy day. The guessers say the party is definitely over by the weekend. Highs of 23f and night lows of 14f are on the way.

Glad I am not in Siberia as 73 below zero F (58.3 below zero C) was reported. According to The Siberian Times, the lowest officially recorded temperature in Oymyakon was 89.9 F below zero (67.7 below zero C) in 1933.
