Good for her! It's a shame some of the contributors on here don't avail themselves of a spellchecker before posting  Or even read back what they've written to see whether it makes sense.....

I don't mind how the members do their posting :) but I do get annoyed when local or government officials and businesses make errors. :rolleyespink:

I get annoyed with the platform that GC is on because it's American and keeps changing my words to the American spelling - or sometimes says my words don't exist!!! :old:

So many operating systems have the U.S. dictionary attached as their default spell checker. I kept changing my language to UK English but every time Windows updates, it resets back to U.S. I gave up and now just keep going back and adding the u to neighbour, etc...

I do have to edit a lot because even after reading a post through before replying, I quite often see a spelling error or whatever.

I get ticked when people don't seem to even try to use punctuation or capitals where needed or ramble on and don't make any sense!

Unbelievably...I do overwork that poor button too, but occasionally I like to give it a little holiday. I'm just too kind for words...even the wrong ones!!!!

But this is just a friendly informal forum so we accept that everyone is different.

We have a number of members that are dyslexic and we encourage everyone to come on here. :blue thumb:

I forgot to mention that I don't bother going back and editing typos. Those are obviously easy to interpret. And I never correct someone's spelling. Rude is rude and not necessary or nice in a friendly forum. ;)
