My name is TomatoJoe (not really :P) and i just bought 5000 sq m of land where i will build a multi tunnel greenhouse. First plants will be tomatoes and strawberries and i might have a few Qs about tomato seeds (i might need to open a new thread? If that is the case please let me know in the comments below). Now my question is what sort of tomato are these at the link below, label says Vine ripped tomatoes and i used to love while in England. I am looking to buy seeds for some really tasty tomatoes, not interested in looks.

    Link to wonder tomatoes

ugh looks like i cannot post the link, but then what am i talking about haha

    anyway

    thanks

    TomatoJoe

          Welcome @TomatoJoe .

Not very helpful to us then I'm afraid:sad:

By the sound of it your not from here in England. You could be anywhere ..Australia to Iceland...:noidea:..without even the smallest of hints it makes offering you advice very difficult.

Just need an area...not your address!

I am in Montalembert France and my skeletons stay in the cupboard mostly like most peeps:whistle: Being on a friendly forum we chat, even have a little rant on occasions or discussions, not just over Gardening though. I would say most of us joined for Garden Interests:gardening: and Knowledge.
Welcome, if you want to join in with a club like this. I am a newbie but feel I can easily say I feel at home here.:)fingerprints are not required:dunno::)

@TomatoJoe Sounds like you are going to be semi commercial at least with that much space.
Have a look here Tomato Growing Thread 2021
There is a variety called Essex Wonder, but I doubt if that's what you mean.
Mine are safely buried in the garden.

I am aiming to go fully commercial with a vertical greenhouse.
I don't think Essex Wonder is the one they sell in Asda, they look similar but from browsing the internet i have doubts they are the same.

                          Almost certainly not.
Vine ripened tomatoes can be of many different varieties, rather than picking the tomatoes individually the trusses are cut off with secateurs. This means varieties where the tomatoes on a truss ripen together.
How come I got the full DNA testing kit then.
Oh yes the bodies in the gardens; I forget sometimes. Can I have some more blue pills please. I've finished the last gross.
