          Rose

          a Scent from Heaven ('Chewbabaluv') (PBR)

          Rose of the Year 2017 - rose Scent from Heaven (climbing)

          This rose is deciduous so it will lose all its leaves in autumn, then fresh new foliage appears again each spring.

          • Position: full sun
          • Soil: fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil
          • Rate of growth: fast-growing
          • Flowering period: June to September
          • Hardiness: fully hardy

            Voted Rose of the Year 2017, this climbing rose has a powerful perfume (it won another award for its fragrance at the Paris International Rose Trials). It is also the recipient of a Certificate of Merit in the Royal National Rose Society Trials, so although young, this is already quite an accomplished achiever. A repeat-bloomer, it starts to flower in early summer, producing elegantly pointed buds that open up to lush apricot-orange blooms - and it's usually still in flower in early autumn. It has been bred in Britain by rose hybridiser Chris Warner, who is renowned for his climbing and rambling roses. He has hailed it as being extremely disease-resistant, saying that 'you will never have to spray it' (against fungal diseases). Therefore, not only does it look good, it smells delicious, and will not require a lot of fuss and bother.

            That's the one. It sounded perfect. But then so do a lot of things until you find out the snags.. either way it will be better than a horrible bare brown ugly fence :spinning:

              Just remember Roses are hungry plants and need fortnightly High Potash feed to make them give their best and they'll bring a smile to your face.:love30::thumbsup:

                  @fumanchu

                  To be honest, fumanchu, if you were to analyse the both of them you would not find much difference in the contents as they're both High Potash content with, possibly, Rose Feed having slightly more trace elements but not enough to make a difference.
                  Both Roses and Tomato Feed encourage more flowers/fruit equally well. A lot of Rose growers use Tomato feeds, including me, as it's much cheaper so you get more "bang for your Buck"
