They are indeed Slugs. All sizes from babies to big fat adults :yikes:. I counted 51 on the window when I went back into the room later on :hate-shocked:. There was a bird feeder on the window but it got broken and haven't replaced it yet. I stop filling the feeders after 2pm to avoid left over food attracting them. There was still small amount of residual food on the glass after the feeder was removed that I hadn't cleaned off.

We dont all have acres of space.:frown:[/QUOTE]
People come over to view properties that often have a lot of land, they often do not think that 10 acres of Garden is a problem...think wow all this space....1 acre to me is more than enough to care for and we have worked out recently what is easy and what is not...and changed things accordingly..we want to enjoy our Garden not be a slave to it...Having ponds and various features lots of grass and a good amount of trees and loads of shrubs..need more next season... is all we want..and a Greenhouse of course , missed having one so much. moved this over here because I have still got a map and compass..just..so here is some photos I took this morning...almost all about buds...=spring feelings...
      038.JPG
Where the Greenhouse will go..lengthwise..trying to level in the mud was great fun..
      039.JPG
We have two of these and this one will have to have a haircut because the green leaves
are moving in and we want the variegated to be dominate..cannot think of the name..typical when getting tired.
      048.JPG .
      .

Looking good now with the flowers thinking about opening..

Filled it in to improve the levels..water gone and lots of grass amongst the mud

pulled a trailer across the grass/mud to the barn..Me saying your not by any chance

loads of rain..do not mix..Artisans do a job and looks good for a while but with
no under material to stop the constant grass and weeds growing ...like a propagater:whistle:

                  Oh my gosh @luciusmaximus ... :yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:unbelievable!!!
I had convinced myself that they were leaves but later I had another look and zoomed in and had fearful doubts..
Yuk I really can't bear them.....infact I wouldn't be surprised it some called it a phobia. That would be a nightmare situation for me .

:love30: You're so calm and brave!!

Been laying flags down today in mum garden . Cracked the second flag I were laying :wallbanging: so throw a strop and chucked my mallet and refused to do anymore for around 2 mins :heehee: . I am about half there now heavy rain stopped play, hopefully I'll get all of them down tomorrow but for the two steps I'll have to do another day .

Can anyone remember one David Austin sends the new catalogue out ? I

I think it's later in Spring, Perki, but I'm not sure as it's seems like ages since I got the last one.
I've got one rose, bare root, on order from them this month but had an e-mail from them apologising saying there will be a delay. They also temporarily, I understand, stopped supplying other retailers with their roses, both potted and bare root, but I don't know why.
