Greetings from Germany

Hello @Black Dog and welcome to the GC in forums

That's a very good sunflower. I've never been to Germany or anywhere else out of the UK, haven't even got a passport also hubby hasn't got one. I've been to berrick on tweed, Weston super mare and Barry island.
We all learn from our mistakes no matter what the subject, i still make them with gardening.

 

Whoops. I better watch out what I am saying then. I remember saying some really brutal things about dealing with slugs a few hours ago

Hopefully they get a lot less love than tiny fluffy rabbits

 

Please don't make me imagine furry slugs... That's nightmare fuel

as you can probably see, if you’ve worked out how to check the avatar on the left-hand side of the message, I’m in Belgium (central). There are quite a few of us who are on mainland Europe, as well as other interesting parts of the world, so we understand how the weather changes as you get into the larger landmass.
I’m looking forward to seeing your garden...!

@Black Dog "moin moin" and wlcome to the forum. Like some of the others on here, I get to various places in Germany on a regular basis. At least I do in a normal year!

 

Black Dog I thought the Germans like their gardens and window boxes are maybe that was a figure of my imagination . Why is your occupation a secret , I am curious are you are secret agent in disguise .
