Favourite songs from way back when.

You will find it very hard to like any of these tracks..My bestest mate the late Rosi Pink and I would regularly go to South Norwood Public Halls(Stanley Halls) for Gigs and this particular night it was the terrifying Screaming Lord Sutch... at 14 years old we thought it a terrible gig..frightening, to never repeat that kind of 'artist' again...Joe Brown and the Bruvvers, The Yardbirds with Eric Clapton as great memories, more that, I cannot remember and then Wallington Public Halls where many famous artists appeared in the 60's mad times butg reat times.. but never will Screaming Lord Sutch be forgotten

as a Competitive pair, I went for Cliff Richard,
do listen to both now..but like to diverse..

 

I've got 2 older brothers one liked the Beatles and other liked the rolling stones. Both of them were a bit too late for me but of course i had to listen to them both.
The younger brother took me to see the Beatles film called help. Those days if go in the afternoon could stay and watch it a second time straight after the first one finished, I fell asleep watching it a second time.i was only 11 years old

We were all doing our disco moves to Top of the Pops from when it first started back in 64. Elder sis was 11 , me 9 , bro 5 and little sis would try and copy us at 16 mths old.

 

My big sis and I were taken to see A Hard Days Night that same year too.
We also saw Help, Yellow Submarine.and Let It Be.
We shared a bedroom and the walls were covered in Beatle pics. She was a George fan and I was a Paul one.

Ahhhhh those were the days!
