forget that please.

Sorry this subject I find is really upsetting , mental health can be a silent killer and should not become a tit for tat conversation maker.

I really am ending my part in this now.

We are very fortunate too and have Deer roaming around here. In the ( almost) 40 years we've been here I still get goosebumps when I see them and all the other wildlife we are so very lucky to be witnesses of.

 

Well this isnt tit for tat. I was concerned about Lori and the "pile on" she received which wasn't very kind and I found that in itself upsetting. I also am very concerned about people's mental health and have had close friends suffer and end their lives because of it. So I care for both sides of this arguement. Hence why I asked if anyone had heard from Lori. I found the "enough said move on" comment quite unkind in that respect.

i hope my intentions and thoughts about this are clear now and why I brought it up.

What I meant by ..enough said move on... was that it was dealt with and brought to a final conclusion on the 'the actual thread', a few days ago. They is no need in my opinion to rake it up again and re-light the issue on Wakey, wakey....that was all .

I too have had sadly many tragic dealings with the subject. Very, very close family have and are still suffering . You are not alone believe me.

Well has anyone actually heard from Lori? She usually posts on here. @noisette47 have you heard anything? I hope her grand daughter hasn't had a relapse.

 

Upsydaisy I was so amazed to see them, I’ve only ever seen them at Rivington, I was having a good look around our garden and noticed we have a bird feeder, bird house, bug house and a small pond, really can’t wait to get stuck in, there’s some ivy I want to get rid of before it gets a grip of the shrubs

 

We get them walking up and down are lane too in the evenings, they tend to stay in the fields and woodlands around us during the daytime, especially since all the lockdowns have brought loads of walkers past our once quiet property.

Magical!!!

 

AFAIK, Lori's fine. I believe she intends to distance herself from GC for a while, as I do. Time to do some actual gardening, rather than discussing it, or trying to I'm sure she'll be pleased that you're thinking of her, though

I won't be around much because I feel that this forum has lost it's rudder. It is one thing to share feelings, concerns and moans but another to discuss deep mental issues on a forum which should have been directed to a qualified psychology professional/therapist instead.

Simply deleting my post did not make me feel any different. People piled on with their comments of things they've gone through and seemed to have a competition about the seriousness of their personal traumas.

I can assure you, I have experienced far worse trauma in the not so distant past and sought professional help to get me back in balance rather than spreading the pain here. Sharing stories about Sam were just trivial compared to that!

I'll leave this pity party now. Wallow away those who wish!
