    Aloha everyone,

I think it should be a nice day so shall get a bit more done in the garden this morning. Afternoon and evening I'm playing bridge :blue thumb:

I want to try and remove some wooden posts that are in the front garden. They originally supported a white rose that covered the wires stretched between them and spread about 30ft. It was highly scented, tiny white single petalled, thornless and only bloomed in May. It was planted in 1953 and survived until last year. It died and was cut back but we now have a single shoot that has appeared from the trunk. The posts are 4" diameter and have been there 67 years and are looking very tatty. I hope they won't be too difficult to remove.

    Keep well

    Aloha!

It has come up quite breezy now although it is 17c, sunny/cloudy.

:yikes: This is in the wrong place!

              Aloha everyone,

Yesterday was a good day in the garden here in Shineyland and today looks set to be more like Summer. :rolleyespink: We got a lot done and I continued trimming lawn edges, clearing moss and winter debris from the beds whilst Lewis removed all the posts and barrowed 25 loads of garden compost and spread them where I was working - after I had finished :heehee:. He also did some heavy digging and weeding on our front verge bed - 6' x 60'. That had deep and nasty weeds that are too much for me to do.

              Keep well

              Aloha!

Hello everyone, thank you @moyra , still sadly struggling but I am being good and not overdoing things. Surprising how you adapt to things, getting use go hobbling !!!

How are you now Moyra have you phoned 119 yet?

Not a lot on the agenda for today apart from visiting my brother and maybe sweeping the 3 patio areas....I keep doing this but the birds will embark on a moss chucking competition!!!

Still haven't heard from the surgery about my jab...if done alphabetically then I should be very near the top of their list. ;)

                  Have a brilliant Saturday.:spinning:

                      Morning @Flumpy :)
Yes my sister was given her 2nd date at the same time she received her 1st. Hubs and brother ( and me) are at a different surgery. They all seem to be working to different rules.
Never mind no worries, it will happen when it happens!

                          I'll do my best.

It was sunny all day and I did some weeding and a lot of pressure hosing. Will probably ache tomorrow. :noidea:
