Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

Yesterday had a new door fitted in the kitchen that leads into the garage, it has to be s fire door. It's a composite door with the locks inside. Have to be careful not to get locked out and lose the keys because it would be very difficult to get back in.

 

Funny old day today. Potting shed and few other bits from Wickes arrived. Day did not start off well - I tried to put my phone into my pocket, but it didn't fit. I had the sweat pants on back to front... anyway shrugged that off as a sign of getting older - shifted the shed to position - nipped in to make some lunch. Slicing the mushrooms was more difficult than usual - strange I thought - these are new knives - then I then realised I was trying to cut the mushrooms using the back of the blade - turned the knife around and all was well again.

How embarrassing - can we keep this between ourselves? I don't want everyone to know - I might get a free white coat with leather straps on the really long sleeves.

At 12.15pm got my appointment with my dishy dentist for a check up but it will be fine. Hubby has his after me same dentist.

 

I have the medium golden brown colour.

 

Went ok had a X ray just incase and that was fine, hubby as well.
We have a private dentist at Henley in Arden. Got dental plan pay £25 a month for the 2 of us.
Some of the houses are really big and posh and some well known people live there.

 

Why does it need to be a fire door @Logan ?

 

Because if there's a fire in the garage it won't get into the kitchen for some time.

 

I see so the Kitchen leads to the Garage so completely for safety... which make's sense now..thanks Logan
