Should have said that they wouldn't fit a ordinary door because of that, of course it can go the other way, if there's a fire in the house and we can get into the garage, that's even better.:)

We pay out the cost to our Dentist, then get back a percentage often 60% of the cost from our health system cpam with vitale card..our private top up insurance then pays for the rest..but it all depends what you have done though..basic check exam xray straight forward fillings basic crowns all covered but bridges and special crowns cost much more to us ...we pay over 200 euros each month for our top up insurance, by choice, which covers most of our health costs that are not covered fully by the health system...

We had dental insurance like that, hubby was working for Halfords at the time and that's owned by Boots the chemist, they did the dental insurance. But hubby got made redundant so that was that.
Then we had to have the NHS but not as good as private dentists.

            Brilliant news @Logan . :hapydancsmil:

I'm still waiting my turn...had my letter nearly 3weeks ago but decided ( like hubs did) to wait until our own Dr contacts me.

Our Surgery contacted hubs on the same day he received his letter, but not so quickly in my case . I know some GPs can't facilitate the roll out of vaccinations on their premises but fortunately ours can. My brother-in-law had to go to a hub about 7 miles away and friends of ours who live near Norwich had an all round journey of an hour to get to their hub!!
Our GP is just down the road ,so I don't mind the wait really.:)

Thanks @Upsydaisy i could have waited for my GP but it's not very far away for me to go to the other one, the same for hubby but at a different place.

I could have booked one at Bromsgrove but i didn't want to go that far.

Attended St. Thomas's hospital this afternoon. Night fore last, I had a phone call from Guys time 20.15 A slot was available in the cardiac dept. Turned up for the 13.30 Appointment. No disabled parking bays. So parked with everyone else. Check-up over at 15.30 Despite having displayed my parking badge, it cost me £9.60

Anyway the consultant did a thorough heart scan. Honest. At times it sounded as if I'd got a washing machine inside my chest. Finally, the readings were about the same as a year ago. So next check in six months.

I went food shopping first thing. After all the groceries were put away, I made the marinate and got the chicken cut up and into the marinade for tonight’s kebabs. Doing some cleaning up and then hopefully I can get in garden for a couple of hours.

Got up this morning with the sun shining. I had to put together a football quiz for the team I mange to play this afternoon. It’s getting harder each week, as we have been doing them all through lockdown and as they are only 10/11 it needs to be relevant to them. I then took the kids down to the park on their bikes. The weather was glorious and really does feel like we have turned a corner (in more ways than 1) and it actually felt like we are well on the way to normality. Back home for lunch and start preparing tonight’s fish pie. Going in garden for an hour before delivering the quiz I compiled this morning.

Just had my first Covid vaccination.
It wasn't far but hubby took me. Close by there's a industrial estate where there's a Knights pharmacy warehouse, they set it up to do vaccinations. Everything went fine had the Asrazenica one, also was given a sticker to put on my jacket say that I've just had it.
