Morning @moyra . Sorry to hear you are having troubles too. It makes you so angry at your own body for letting you down, doesn't it. I'm just not ready to be at this stage yet!!
I'm in fighting mode today...doubling the exercises :dbgrtmb:

Look after yourself @moyra and only do things that you can comfortably manage...and no more.

Good morning all :spinning: the sun is out and not a cloud in the sky for a change  .
Shiney I agree with you, it has been hard, our butchers has been doing ring and collect which is a good idea, I love the sound of fresh seafood, we used to have a fish shop until Morrison’s came to the centre and a nice family run bread shop.

Upsydaisy, glad your feeling a little stronger, the sun will do you good, just wrap up warm today :dbgrtmb:.
Moyra strict instructions...... take it easy, and if the sun is out at your end, take a seat with a cup of tea and let that sun get to your bone :spinning:

How's everyone today, hope you've got a glorious start to the week like we have down here

I had another bad night with has fuelled my determination to get my leg/ knee back in working order.
Shuffled through all my list of exercises and have put together a daily 10 exercise regime for specifically strengthening my knee and leg muscles. :dbgrtmb::fingers crossed:

After stripping and changing the bed and some housework this morning the plan is to get back outside as temps are warming up today!!

Take care and have a great day everyone!:spinning:

            Aloha everyone,

Yesterday turned out to be a lovely sunny day. I got more weeding done and mowed the main lawn. Although I charged the mower battery before putting it away for the winter it only turned the engine over once before going flat. Fortunately it only took 15 minutes to charge it up again and then the mower roared away.

We're going to start pouring concrete today to sort out the support for the shed base. We need about 60ft of concrete to shore up around the edges.

At the moment I have a whole stack of chicken wings cooking in the oven. They're flavoured with garlic salt and herbs and when roasted make really good snacks.

            Keep Well

            Aloha!

Morning everyone, that's a great pic @Flumpy ,really beautiful.:)

Well we have another super day to enjoy,so it will undoubtedly be spent in the garden.

I plan to get out there earlier today..trouble is that I say that everyday but indoor duties seem to crop up. As cooler weather is returning in the next day or so I will ignore the beckoning calls of housework!!!:heehee:

Have a lovely day yourselves and keep safe.

Good morning everyone, today is the anniversary of the day I lost my little 2 month old baby boy. David died of bronchilitis but he was such a beautiful baby externally as the coroner put it not even a pimple on his bum but unfortunately his bronchial tubes were under developed. That was 54 years ago and yet it is still as fresh in my memory as if it were today. I often wonder what sort of man he would have proved to be. Steve has just said "Spoiled" , probably right!
Have a good day everyone take it easy and above all stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

@Upsydaisy , don't overdo things today and @Flumpy hope you'll be very happy in your new home. Lovely picture.

I suffered a miscarriage and lost a later in pregnancy ' born sleeping ' little boy. I still remember the anniversary of losing them and their due dates. I can't image how traumatic it must be to lose a little one that you have got to know, love and share precious time with. My heart goes out to you Moyra. :grphg: xx

Hi Moyra, so so sorry for your loss, I too can relate to this, we lost five miscarriages one at 5 months (Kyle) who had a big hole in his heart, unfortunately they said he wouldn’t survive full term so I had to be induced and unfortunately god wasn’t on my side as we never conceived since , I light a candle on the 27th November every year and visit his grave when we need to, I too wonder what he would of looked like, so big hugs to you & Upsydaisy xx

Good morning everyone, thank you for your empathy. So many of us ladies have had to undergo such traumas as miscarriages, after David died I went on to have three miscarriages and it was obvious then that it was not to be. At least we can share our upsets.
Have a good day, take it easy today and above all stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

Good morning to you @moyra and to everyone who pops by.

Yes sadly a lot of us have experience the joy of the promise of birth/ new life only to have had it cruelly snatched away from us in the blink of an eye. It must be said though that the poor Dads also suffer, double dose too...the loss of their child and having to watch their partners go through the procedure. They often feel helpless.
Hugs to all who have shared in this sad experience.:grphg:

Not sure how today will pan out as we are forecast a bit of everything today. We are said to be having rain at this very moment but instead we have lovely sunshine , it's going to be one of those days!!!!

Whatever is thrown our way, lets all enjoy our day.:spinning:

Edited to say...you snuck in there @shiney ...good morning.:heehee:

                                Aloha everyone,

Yesterday was extremely busy and we've almost finished with the shoring up of the base of the shed. All concrete now poured and the shuttering will come off at the weekend. The split in the rabbit fence has also been sewn back together with heavy duty wire. I noticed that Super Bunny has dug upwards from next door and bent aside the heavy duty wire buried in the ground alongside the wooden fence

The garden is beginning to look tidier although I'm only able to go at it slowly. My swollen and inflamed ankle is going down gradually after gentle administration of magic potions. I've been able to get my pressure stocking on it this morning. :blue thumb:

I received my pack of 700+ bean seeds Monday and I shall be counting them and putting in them into smaller packs. Two varieties of runners and one of French.

                                Keep well

                                Aloha!
