It was one of my avatars on the bone forum. Decided one had to stay classy ... have at least a dozen canes, flowers, butterflies, etc, one for every occasion/outfit and and they all have names.

Thanks @Fat Controller .... You're obviously researching hard for us ladies and I don't want to appear ungrateful but is that the only one? It doesn't really depict us on our frail and achy days.....this lady looks like she's running the marathon!!

But if she is the one and only then, and I am only speaking for myself, she will do.

Morning everyone, a bit of a dismal end to the week here today.

It'll really be a sparkling Shineyland when you've finished all the pressure washing @shiney .

Off to see if this Dr will give me the steroid jab this morning that my own Dr has requested, he certainly didn't sound like he was in full agreement with her.
I'm not particularly keen on this Dr at the best of times and I certainly won't be if I go all the way to the main surgery only to be told 'no'!!
Only time will tell.

Apart from that no other firm plans have been made , had initially thought of popping into town to get a few bits but that will depend if I get the jab ( sometimes it can feel extra achy for a day or two afterwards) and of course the weather..although at the moment the sun has put in a surprising appearance.

Good morning everyone else.

 

Good morning everyone ,hope this finds you all well and looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

The latest update ( and hopefully last chapter)is that it was agreed without any hesitation that I needed the jab yesterday so I was given a local anaesthetic before it was administered. Apart from waking at around 4 with a very achy knee ( anaesthetic now having completely worn off) generally when up and moving around it feels so much better. Early days yet I know but I'm feeling very optimistic.
