Wow @Loofah , just come across this thread - what an amazing project! I'm another one who's incredibly envious of that greenhouse, for all the headaches I imagine it causes :)

If I ever get round to fixing it up it will be amazing (I hope). I’ve just dug several trees out of the cold frame on the other side of the main structure, a nice range as it happens lol, and kicking the walls as you do for seeing how sound they are... hmm, might need some new brick work too!
I’m hoping the current load of snow on top of it doesn’t collapse the whole thing!

Other bits and pieces have been happening but most recent is a new pond. Just a small one but next to the veg area so should help with slug control, especially as the other pond is stuffed full of frogs and spawn :)
This is a corner that started with a rhody that was blocking the area so it got chopped and moved to another place. I planted a magnolia ('Galaxy') for Mrs L's 40th and have been slowly adding plants as and when I get them, also a bit of rhubarb as every garden needs some lol
Anyhoo, got bored one day and started digging and before you know it, a pond appeared :) Have stolen plants from around the garden, some of which are so small at the moment that they dont show but later in the year it should look great. Also grabbed some stones and slate that were knocking about...

Thanks It's just an old chimney pot that I found knocking about so figured if I stick it in the border then something will either grow in it or nest in it! There's also a ridge tile for sheltering beasties

I used Silver Copse on mine - will try and get a photo of it for you tomorrow if you want Andy? Must look OK, as my neighbour over the back from me put a new shed up and went with exactly the same colour. Really good paint it is too.

I'd choose either Silver Copse or Forest Oak. :)

Yes please! I was thinking of maybe black to make any planting stand out more but really open to anything.
I used the ducksback in my old house and was really impressed with it

Another vote for silver copse here - I painted the wooden boarders in our old garden with it and really liked it, the plants stood out well but it was a bit more neutral than straight black.

Sounding like a good option! I'll just wait on the pic from @Fat Controller but think it's going to be silver copse :)

Sorry Andy, I have been stupidly busy... This is an early morning shot (excuse the mess) so maybe looks a tad more blue than it actually is in reality. Really nice colour and the water just slips straight off it.
