Gosh @shiney ..... I've so much to learn!! How do you tell the difference, they all look the same to me.
I do know for sure that my parents had the other one as Mum kept a garden plan book and it was in there. Dad wasn't that keen on it I think!!

How is everyone today, haven't eaten too many Easter Eggs have you and now feeling all chocolated out ??

Much cooler and cloudier day here for us today. As I said before I hope this will serve to keep the touristy places quieter this weekend.
Yesterday we had a lot of bigger groups of walkers , one group of 9 walkers did bother to wear any masks or to keep to the social distancing rules....not one single person!!
Made my blood boil, I had to be restrained from opening my mouth to them !!

To be honest we don't eat any ourselves either @shiney but I do buy them for the children that are in our lives. Currently this is just our two 3yr old great nephews. As they undoubtedly end up getting loads we all just buy a small Easter related chocolate item for them. Some eggs are so huge these days!

Morning all, shocked at how frosty it is this morning. I nipped put before bedtime last night and through a blanket over the back pear tree (that was full of blossom) and another blanket ovr a couple of tender shrubs in pots by the back door. I wish Id had more blankets/covers to hand to put over all the newly sprouting perennials but they will just have to get on with it now.

Same here too @snorky. Doubled fleeced the plants that are in the bubble wrapped section of the greenhouse, and covered all the Dahlias ( still hoping that they are all alive and kicking...only time will tell) ...but I expect ,as usual , we will lose the cherries ( it's either the frost or birds) and also one particular apple tree tends to have a grump for the rest of the season if it gets hit by frost. The plum, pear and other apple tree seem bit hardier. They're all too big to throw a fleece or a blanket over, so there is not much we can really do about it....except grumble at the potential loss of fruit.

Sunday everyone! The frost has just thawed out here and there’s a big blanket of fog on the hills.
My sweet peas and teddybear seeds are in my little greenhouse, do you think I should put them in the shed tonight?? It’s got a window in it, And I think I best wrap my chordyline too

I keep mine in the greenhouse , well fleeced up in the bubble wrapped section. To be honest just a fleece would probably be enough , have you now got a glass greenhouse?
