      Aloha everyone,

@Flumpy no marshmallows as we don't have any sweet things in our house - apart from Mrs Shiney :wub2:

It's sunny here and the ground is cracking up for lack of rain!

Yesterday was a long day. I started dealing with our foreign emails at 2.30 a.m., delivery from Sainsbury's at 6.30 a.m., lots of cooking, gardening, Zooms and bridge and then went into town to Tesco at 11.30 p.m. for the things Sainsbury's didn't have.

I hope to get a lot of the bean canes up today :blue thumb:

      Keep well

      Aloha!

What a sad way to start a day. RIP Prince Philip. Duke of Edinburgh. What a stately gentleman he was!

I liked his comment when he went to Australia.

The customs officer said "I don't know whether to ask you the normal questions".

Prince Philip said "Go ahead" and the officer asked whether he has any criminal convictions.

Prince Philip replied "I didn't think that was still the qualification for entering Australia!" :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Thank you Flumpy. We go to 20c most days, lows of 12-14c, but we actually have light rain this morning. :yay: We are still in jeans and sweaters. We don't really have a Winter as such and we are not too extreme in the Summer ... Paradise! :spinning:

Are you still unpacking? What a silly question ... we still have a few boxes in the loft and we have been here 20 years this coming October! :hate-shocked:

wow! Sounds nice and warm, we are 3c with sunshine at the moment....I have got about six smaller boxes left but most have got keep sake things in from my Grandparents and uncle, I will put them in the loft as I don’t want them getting damaged, we have put new curtains up on the patio and dining room windows, they left the wooden white blinds up which we like for privacy at the front of the house, our new sofa set is coming beginning of May  can’t wait :spinning:

                          Aloha everyone,

We haven't unpacked all our boxes and we've been here 49 years!

Just back from my second jab. They're extremely busy at our village surgery with the jabs and have 400 people booked in today. I had to wait out in the cold for 25 minutes

All OK and going to do some lunch for myself and follow that with a piece of lemon drizzle cake for having been a good boy. :pathd:

                          Keep well

Still dry here, had hoped for some of our forecast rain but it didn't happen.

Never mind, it gave me other chance to build up my knee/ leg strength , just got back from a 2 hour walk. I did have a bit of a struggle as I hit my pain barrier about 30 mins before reaching home.....very hard going but I did it.

Do I deserve some lemon drizzle cake too @shiney .....pleeeeeeeese!!!:please:
