Normally I would be green with envy over your snow, but not at this time of year with all the young shoots emerging!!

A day of sunny intervals with a light breeze ,high of 11C. It's our night temps that are causing a real problem ,tonight they drop to -5.

I can almost guarantee that all our Dahlias won't have survived this winter out in the ground. If any do I'll be amazed!!!

Didn't get a lot of snow and that's good, now it's just damp for the time being. With light winds from the west temp 1c and thick cloud.

Started out grey with the odd snow grain coming down.
                    -1c over night.
Brightening up with the sun coming out now.
Sunshine makes all the difference at this time of the year.

Dipped below freezing overnight, snow showers early this morning, -3 deg C forecast tonight. At least the ground is drying up nicely and I can get all my rotorvating finished.

Right now it is 44f. Very mild. And a solid layer of clouds. We have been told that it will not go down to freezing overnight until the last week of the month. What the heck! Those few days of cold prevent planting out until May 1st or a little later  Oh well, it is milder than usual this year so I should not complain.;)

Thats frustrating, getting a mild spell then it turns cold again, so you cant actually plant much out.
That's what we get over here all the time, cant plant much out until mid May, just because that last frost is always on the cards.

If you grow tender stuff its even more frustrating because in a normal year 90% of the nights are often frost free, but tender stuff cant stay outside in winter because of 10% of the nights being frosty, if you get my meaning.:smile:
