Hate to say it, but we need more of an Atlantic influence on the weather

Either that or the High pressure to move south, opening the door to the Atlantic in the North

Why do we need to open a door to the Atlantic in the North??? Take pity on my dodgy knee problem and speak in simple words please.

 

Because if the High was to move South allowing Atlantic weather to come in from the West over the top it would bring us SW winds or even Southerlies.

The High is in its usual place for the time of the year, which brings in NE winds, but things are particully cold because its dragging in Artic air.

That's how I see it anyway.

A beautiful sunny morning after a very cold night. Currently at -2 , should reach a high of 11C with an overnight low of -3.

 

It is a bright start with the sun breaking through and a little breeze. It is 15c going to 20c and may have showers starting tomorrow. I did say "may have" ...

It is 20c and sunny/cloudy with only a 5% chance of showers.

 

At lunchtime we were suddenly forecast to have rain all afternoon......still waiting for it.

Even removed a lot of plants from the cold frames and greenhouse in the hope that when we got back home from the GC we would find them all watered for us.

Sunny morning, but as usual clouded right over now, it nearly touched 13C 55f earlier but has now dropped to 10C 50f.
