We met our son and daughter in law at Shepton Mallet as it was (almost halfway between us) for a distanced picnic in the town park. We hadn't seen them since before Christmas and had a great afternoon in brilliant sunshine.

Went to my brother in laws and had lunch in the garden with the kids having a great time playing together. Ended up moving the table about 5 times chasing the sun. Drank too much, but had a bloody good laugh. Hoping I can make it through Line of Duty tonight without snoring.

My day started early with the first if 12 Physio Therapy sessions. Coincidentally it is with a Physiiotherapist Rui Miguel who saw me in hospital two years ago! I have to go Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and be there at 9am ... a 45 minute journey each way. The first session was 1hr 20mins and was good but he said I may ache later ... so far so good. :fingers crossed:

Thanks for the update Vicky...I was just thinking about you!!

Gosh one hour and twenty....that's certainly a workout!!!:yikes:
Are all the sessions that long, definitely not that long over here....20-30 minutes if lucky.

          Sounds very good indeed.:dbgrtmb:

Boa tarde Upsy, thank for thinking of me. xx I think it was that long as it was first session, lots of questions etc, although he knew my background. It is at the hospital I was in three times so all my history is available on screen. I think in future they will be shorter ... I will report back on Wednesday. Not bad for under 25 Euros a session ... and to have a cutie being hands on with you.

You know me always nosey..I have to admit to Googling him....couldn't understand it ,except something about specialising in women's health...is that the one?? Sadly ( and more importantly as it was my reason for doing so) so photos of Rui .

Just had to check the exchange rate....just over £21... not bad at all!!

              Was it quite relaxing....[IMG]

Helped the neighbour install some new fence panels - we go 50/50 on the cost. They are slotted concrete posts - so you have to lift up the whole panel and drop it in from the top.

Took us both an hour and half - 95% of the time complaining , cursing :wallbanging: and catching our breath :phew: - the other 5% actually doing the fencing work. Mind you the Sun was out.

He is cute even with the mask ... but such a chatterbox! :heehee: He graduated in 1997 so looks young for his age (late 40s I guess).

I was going all seed grown this year but caved in quickly when I saw the plugs at B&Q this morning. Picked up a couple of trays of trailing petunia - 12 plugs for £11. The lobelia was far more advanced than my own seed grown - but I managed to stop myself from buying more.

I smuggled the plugs back into the bungalow underneath my jacket - I don't think the neighbours clocked me .

Silliness. That is what the trunk/boot of the car is used. You leave them in there and smuggle in later under cover of darkness! :heehee:
