Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

Laundry AM, bit of gardening then visited my sister and cut her hair PM . Hubs did some diy and maintenance jobs for her while I had a cuddle with her gorgeous furry housemate.

 

Been collecting together all of the card making things that I had for my friend Marion to collect and try to sell it all, there's a lot more at what used to be Keith's place that he collected. She wants to get some money for a plack where Keiths ashes are going to be scattered at the cremetorium. At the moment she doesn't know how much it will cost. On Christmas Eve her daughter passed away with MND she was only 42 and she's left behind a daughter of 5 and a husband, so Marion has to look after them as well as her partner.

 

She is a beauty Upsy, she looks a cross between a Tortoiseshell and Calico, or a Tortico.

 

Shifted 3 tonnes of limestone gravel at my Mums. At it solid from 9.15am to 3pm - will sleep well tonight.

A Canadian politician has apologised after appearing naked in a video call with colleagues.

"This was an unfortunate error," William Amos, who represents the Quebec district of Pontiac, said in a statement on Wednesday.

"My video was accidentally turned on as I was changing into my work clothes after going for a jog," he said.

 

And he looked to be in excellent physical condition

Barbecuing some tube steaks, chops, and other items needed to be put to the flames. I like to have the fridge stocked with these type of things for people to just "fend for themselves" if they get hungry for something during the day as I don't have set breakfast or lunch times.

Got the main floor cleaned and laundry done and prepared some strawberries, angle cakes and fresh whipped cream for later.

It is dull and chilly outside else I would have been fertilizing the lawn instead..

 

Sorry to say this but that is nothing compared to the gangs in Toronto! A recent seizure..

 

This is a man made lake called Arrow Valley Lake close to where we live

 

We went up into the hills behind us ... 10 minutes to the foot and just drove around with the top down. The smell through the Eucalyptus hills really opened up the sinuses!

Didn't take photos but these are from a couple of years ago in the Serras da Monchique in our Counties of Silves and Monchique ... and the sky was just as blue today ...

Oh wow, wow ,wow!!! Gorgeous and with a sandy beach too!! Thankfully we have a few ' local ish sandy ones too but slightly more than 20 mins away...on a good day more like 40!!

 

Sad thing is ... most tourists don't know the REAL Algarve ... thankfully!
