Fog light switches tend to be on stalks now, they were in my last car. I haven't looked for them yet on this one.

Radio is combined with the screened computer, I've found this easier to operate than the one in my previous car. What I will miss though is the lack of a cd player, they're considered outdated now.

You're right, the cruise control won't get much use. Again, I never got to use it in my other car mostly because I don't do any long journeys.

I wouldn't know. The last Ford I owned was nearly 20 years ago. This is the first car I've owned with a digital display too, the others had the traditional dials.

I wonder whether there may be a shortage of petrol here for a while after the hacking problem in the U.S. You only have a quarter of a tank.

Although that would last Mrs Shiney a year at the moment! She has only taken the car out in the last 14 months to keep it ticking over and the battery charged and has done less than 200 miles. :rolleyespink:

          Thank you @glengarry23 . :)

@pete I found the fog lamp switch today, guess where it is?

That was the quota provided by the dealer Shiney, never very generous. Our cars are always kept half full or above.

That is one of the reasons men like to buy 'one woman owner' cars. ;)

I can remember years ago buying new Fords and they used to charge you for a tank full of petrol and at a premium price, if you said no, then they would make sure you had hardly enough to get to the nearest garage, you would be running on fumes alone.

Mmmmmm. Fog lamp switch, now where did I put that?????

Oh no, better fill the tank and buy some jerry cans. Better top up on toilet roll and pasta too, better safe than sorry..:heehee:

When I have hired a car in Thailand I have never had to put fuel in the car, you tell them how much and they have staff who do it for you. Same when you go to the supermarket, the staff pack your bags, you don't have to ask, they even have security that will load your shopping in the car, you have to ask for that service though.

Getting a full tank of fuel when negotiating with car salesman is my last gambit, during the bartering over price and part exchange values I keep it up my sleeve and conclude with "give me a full tank of fuel to clinch the deal", they don't want to lose a sale after all the time they have spent with you so it always works.

We thought that too Lori. :)

If my daughter hadn't just taken delivery of a custom built van I think it would have sold already. :)

This thread popped up. We have been very busy with car shows for our car going to lots of different state in the USA. winning some awards etc. Recently a video was done about our car, her name is "Sasha". so here it is. If you want to follow the car, Sasha, she has a facebook, named Sasha Show Car Public. Next trip to Louisville, KY. Fun seeing different parts of USA. meeting neat folks. But it can be tiring. So glad we are home for these two months.

Had a shot of a pre-federal spec 71 Corvette when I was in Santa Rosa. Lovely beast.
