        I see your Hostas are in pots @glengarry23, mine also, I find the slugs don't get at them so much in pots.

            The hostas look great! The hydrangea has two flower buds just starting to open so it is happy too.

              Hi Michael,..i agree with you there about them being less attacked by slugs when in pots,..i have to have mine on high due to the mass of high growing plants so they would be dwarfted if on ground level,..i also have one of mine which is a huge Hosta in a big container,..with added protection of Coconut Fibre wrapped around that container,..plus it takes the look of the container away,..the Mix of Neem Oil and Liquid Soap also works like magic.

              The big Hosta in August last year,..Hosta fortunei 'Aureomarginata'

                          The middle section of this image,..apart from the purple Hebe will be full of Lily blooms and Phlox in the near future.
