Hi Victoria,..i took some of that Mint home some years back,..it grows well in a pot,..must be in a pot and prevents it from spreading,..tastes very nice in a tea or when cooking veg or a stew.

Lol the camera was set to take an image in 30 seconds but i was just lucky to get in position in that time,..i was almost finished my walk just then,..approx a 6 mile trek is usual :)

The little poser was interested in the camera beeping :doggieshmooze:

I love mint ... tea, sweets (mint & licorice is nice). lamb, peas, potatoes ...

I know it wouldn't grow here ... I've failed with both Common Mint and Spearmint but have a nice pot of Garlic Chives.

Six miles ! You must be fit ... Nice that you live in such a lovely area and the skies are fantastic.
Mentha aquatica grows here too but I didn't now you could make tea from it. I may try growing some, I have a few different mints in pots.

Victoria your making me hungry,..the alternative is Peppermint Chewing Gum,..imagine at aged 76 i can still chew gum and walk

I find my garden Mint loves water,..perhaps your climate is too dry,..well most of the time.

My sweet tooth loves Mars Bar :)

Hi Michael,..you honestly wouldn't feel walking far here as one is drawn to go further each time,..3 mile each way is easy enough,..i must be a glutton for punishment as i keep walking until i feel my leg muscles starting to act up then a short break and return.

I often add a few Mint leaf to my tea or when the warm weather comes added to ice water,..plus some kind lemonade.

I have Dentine (what's it called here ...Ice) Cinnamon flavoured.

Ha, ha, I have those and Snickers, the Peanut ones (but Aldi brand). I do like Bounty too. I treat myself to chocolate things, prefer salty snacks or any kind of nuts.
