10c very windy & wet i will be clad when winter ends in summer

 

It's still dry here but blowing a gale.

Yes same here too and I have to go out again in it this morning.I am watching as all the trees are being battered by the winds, some are almost bent double!! The wind speed is currently at 51mph but increasing to the mid 50's later this morning...I haven't dared to look out at the garden...I'm avoiding all windows!!

High of 13C with an overnight low of 8C , but the temps are the least of our worries today.

 

Light rain and a moderate breeze from the south south west temp 8c.
The wind feels more than moderate.

 

As I look out at the trees rocking and frothing, I can't help thinking of nests full of chicks and hoping they and their parents can stay safe. It must be difficult for them in this cool, windy weather...

 

Just heard on our local news that our area may reach winds of 60mph this morning as it whips across from the IOW.

 

Our wind speed is 18mph

 

Sun breaking through cloud, gusty wind and 15c going to 28c and a breezy afternoon. Not sure I want to meet friends for lunch sitting out in such.

Oh a Summer 's breeze then @Logan ...how nice!!

 

Van has braved it into the wind. Munch looked out the window from the back of the lounge chair under the window then came back to bed. Window/shutters wide open as we have permanent screens. We are propped up in bed having tea/coffee watching the news (and doing on line stuff. Our bed faces window and it is coolish. Van will be back shortly.

 

Yes a very summer breeze if we had the nice weather to go with it.
