April is usually and was sunny and dry here. May should have followed suit but it's been wet and cold nearly every day.

Wet again and breezy with the temperature dropping, 6C/43F. A frost is due overnight and -1C/30F expected.

From memory, I don't recall it raining once during April. We are currently in the middle of having our kitchen demolished and rebuilt. That left us for the whole of the drought period with no outside tap. The only way I could water my arid pots was via the bathroom washbasin, a jug and a bucket. It took around 10 jugs to fill the bucket and 4 buckets to water the pots. I did this on average twice a week. Sometimes more if I happen to be at home. Since then it has rained every day. It's great for the pots but not so good for the building work which has had to stop.

First the good news, the wind has dropped.
Now the bad news, it's raining.

All good news here the gales have gone, the rain has stopped and the sun is desperately trying to break through the cloud. High of 15C with an overnight low of 5C. Looking forward to getting back out into the garden today.:planting:

Sunny, windy and 15c going to 25c. Looks like we've got this wind from the North and NorthWest all weekend.

Mild 10C overnight which was lucky as I forgot to bring indoors the tender bedding I'm hardening off. Grey skies this morning, now have lovely sun.
