We had a hot sunny day. It was 74F/23C this afternoon. We worked hard in the garden and it was uncomfortably warm.

What a difference the sunshine makes!! Loving our weather, not too hot to make it unbearable to continue doing things..... Around 20C is perfect for me :dbgrtmb:

Hope you're all managing to be out there enjoying it too.

            Have a fab day!:spinning:

Morning Upsydaisy! Love your picture I agree with what it says :dbgrtmb:, it’s very hazy and grey here at the moment, think we need to move to your area :cry3:, I’ve noticed you all seem to get a lot more fair weather than us. Cup of tea coffee anyone :)

Hello everyone. Have an appointment with a general surgery consultant on 1st June. My doc spoke of cameras up and down my body but there is no way I shall consent to that. It is because I am extremely anaemic but I am sure it is down to diet. I do not eat meat except Steve pushes
me into having liver now and again. I have ordered some watercress so that should help and I have a can of draught Guiness every lunch time. I'll agree to having scans on my body if necessary but nothing intrusive.
Have a good day everyone, stay safe and well. God bless.:wub2:

                    Aloha everyone,

It has been a busy day with students here. I've done all the cooking and washing up and did a little more gardening but it's now too hot for me. It's 78F/25+C :phew:. I did some watering but have stopped now as cramp is getting to me . I had cramp in ankle one side, foot and outer lower leg the other side and now have it in my right side. Am taking a cramp pill. Couldn't possibly be anything to do with all the gardening I did yesterday . Going to sit and do nothing for two or three hours. :)

                    Keep well

                    Aloha!

my doctor told me, if you don’t eat much meat then eat plenty mushrooms and mixed salad which are full of iron, also sweet potatoe is good for your eyes (vitamin A), try Googling foods that contain iron :dbgrtmb:

                          Aloha everyone,

@moyra Mrs Shiney doesn't like red meats but will eat chicken and that helps against anaemia - as does chicken liver salmon, haddock and some nuts (not peanuts and preferably not salted ones). What she now really likes are chicken wings sprinkled with garlic salt and mixed herbs and roasted in the oven. I do a pack of these at a time (about 12) and she prefers them cold as a snack or with a big salad. They keep really well in the fridge and she has a couple of them at a time. She occasionally likes chicken livers pan fried in some butter with some very finely chopped onion.

                          Cramps have eased :hapydancsmil:

Weather forecast is good for the next two weeks. :blue thumb:

                          Keep well

Really ,really achy this morning so have had to resort to taking some meds to get me going.
That hasn't stopped me chomping at the bit to get back out in the garden though. I'm hoping the meds will have kicked in a bit in the next half hour....and I be raring to go!!...... Oh to be raring again:heehee:
