Please help me identify this succulent

Hello all,

Please can anyone with expertise in succulent identification help me find the name of this plant?


Picture 1 - Pup (baby) from parent plant.


Picture 2 - Parent plant

Colour may be misleading as the two pictures were photographed with different lighting.

All I know is that it was originally from a mix of cacti and succulents bought from a garden centre. I now have 7 pups + the parent plant.

I would be grateful for any help.

Hi @Ademission , it could be Pachyphytum of some kind. I killed mine after it grew leggy and straggly, but some of the leaves fell off and rooted so now I'm doing round two

 

It could be one of the Echeverias.

 

Must admit I looked at it yesterday and thought Echiveria and then maybe not.
It appears to be more of one of those hybrid type thingy watsits. Or Maybe @Selleri has nailed it.

I've just been looking on the web at various Pachyphytum. Although my plants are very similar, I have also been looking at Echeverias (thanks for this suggestion Victoria) on photographs and these appear to be more similar. One picture I found seemed to be exactly the same.

Well done by the way in propagating the Pachyphytum.

I think you are right. I found a picture on the web that was very very similar to my plant. It was labelled Echeveria Laui.

I'll go with this unless I find something even closer.

After Victoria's suggestion I trawled the web for Echeveria and found a near perfect match so I'm going with Echeveria Laui unless I find a better match.

Well, they are never easy to nail down,
Different growing conditions can give different appearances.

I have / had Escheceria secunda. I say have / had because I am getting rid of all my small succulents.
