Just taken these pics, wanted to catch the May thread!!

 

Absolutely beautiful Upsy. It looks like a stately park. Your never ending hard work is paying off with the blood, sweat and tears.

 

Having had the Jacarandas pollarded last year we didn't think we would get any flowers this year, but we have espied some clusters high up ...





They are Melaleuca stems mingling with the Jacaramda fronds.

 

Beautiful Vicky and very fragrant too I should imagine.

 

Sadly no Upsy. Often the most beautiful flowers are the least fragrant. These clusters about a foot in length are about 25 feet up and I have a big nose but it doesn't stretch that far. When they overhung the upper deck I could reach them.

 

Hardy geraniums

 

Ceonothus has been so slow this year.


Osteospermum always goes crazy this time of year.-

 

It is all the blues and purples. Lovely everyone.

The yellow tuberous Begonia at the back is yet to show itself.

 

Lovely pics everyone
A neighbour up our close has a ceonothus in his front garden and it was had by the frost that lasted a week, but the plant is still alive he cut it back now it's growing again and a some flowers.
