    Hello @Jenny namaste ;):smile:

    A wise old owl sat in an oak,
    The more he heard, the less he spoke;
    The less he spoke, the more he heard;
    Why aren't we all like that wise old bird?

        @Jenny namaste re:Apricots I've had some like this in previous years and my thoughts run as follows: they pick them early before properly ripe so they can pack and transport them as properly ripe apricots are on the tender side; then I think it's still early in the season so I don't know where they came from. I have bought them more July/August time after the main flush of Spanish cherries, when they were definitely soft, juicy and apricoty.

          Apparently there are a few being grown here in Kent, but are ready much later.
          Mansfields - Apricots
          I've heard they are superior to imported ones, but then they would say that, wouldn't they.;)

          I would imaging this years crop will have been wiped out by the lousy spring weather.

              Negatives are allowed on the 'Moan' thread :blue thumb: - but as far as I'm concerned the rain is a positive. :whistle:

              Isn't that - off topic? :roflol:

                Given last night's shenanigans, it would seem to be perfectly within topic :biggrin:

                        Not that sort of shenanigans sadly Jenny - merely the goings on in this very thread (read back a page or two - if you can make sense of it, you're one up on the rest of us :biggrin:)

                          I suppose I should have known better, but with being ill etc I ordered some bits and bobs from Thompson and Morgan... Yes, I can hear you screaming at your screen.... :redface: but it really was a case of needs must. Anyway, some of the things delivered have been OK to the point where they could be rescued or brought on (petunias in particular) and a lot of it I wasn't overly bothered with as we are not doing a lot of flowers this year.

                          One of the things I was kinda banking on though, was dwarf French Beans and they arrived today just before 2pm. Needless to say, by half past, I was sending an email...

                            And they were meant to be securely packed?
                            Disgraceful...
                            And I thought T & M were meant to be a cut above the others...

                              You could of placed an order for french bean seeds with Premier Seeds, received them, sown them and had them big enough to plant out days ago.

                              Might still be quicker taking that route as Safari are listed as out of stock on T&M's website.
