      Aloha everyone,

I hope you are all feeling OK this morning. :grphg:

I missed posting on here yesterday as things kept cropping up. Friday was a nothing day as it took most of the day to get walking again but more or less fine by Saturday. :blue thumb:

The sun is kissing the very top of our poplars and silver birch (60ft-70ft high) but hasn't reach the 45ft willow.

Internet has just gone down (5 a.m.) whilst typing this :dunno: so shall go out and do a little bit in the garden :blue thumb:. 5.45 internet back up again

      Keep well

      Aloha!

I had a busy day yesterday, I’ve had to take over doing my parents garden as my dad had some how Badly twisted his knee, it’s very swollen but he’s got the sciatica on top of that, my arms are so sore today but it’s only muscle pain :)

I'm just about here in the land of the living.....for now!!:heehee:
I'm posting this quickly before the meds kick it and turn me to mush for a couple of hours. Back is now no problem but my dodgy leg is now giving me serious concerns. Will have to get further checks I think. My foot and a couple of my toes feel very weird...sort of numb and cold. The leg below my knee is also lacking full feeling and is rock hard and incredibly painful to touch. All sorts of things run through your mind, so will try to actually see a Dr some time soon, but don't hold out much hope as I've been trying to since last October. I have had blood clots in this leg and two ops in the lower leg for cancer...so I will have to lay my concerns on very thickly in the hope that I will get to see a real life Dr in person. My gut feeling is bursitis still or another clot.

Anyway everyone have a great day....think we are due intermittent rain today so it would be ideal if I manage to finish off the remaining plantings.:fingers crossed:

              :spinning:

Hi @Flumpy and @moyra, thanks for you good wishes.
Oh how I wish it was a trapped nerve Flumpy, but sadly not, this is so very different. Had that many times , sciatica has become a norm for me, first had it when I was 15 and at Christmas too! Wish your Dad well.

@Upsydaisy Surely if you tell them you think you have a DVT they will get you in straight away and then, if they agree, immediately to the hospital to have it checked. Wish you better :grphg:

You would like to think so @shiney , wouldn't you.
One time the Dr told me not to move when I went to see her and she left the room to phone the hospital. She came back saying they couldn't see me until the next day!!

The 2nd time back in 2017.. after seeing a consultant he then said I would need an ultrasound ( which I had the first time..on the same day). I had to wait 3mths!! Luckily it was found to be a superficial thrombosis and not a dvt.

I am just cross that I've had leg trouble for well over a year now and have yet to see an actual Dr in person!!!

I could cry my eyes out ( could!!! I do)....nobody is listening to me. I couldn't even get a Dr out to me last week when it all became scarily bad. They will chat on the phone and will give out steroid jabs but to actually get a consultation!!! All you get is the triage nurse and she prescribes the drugs!!

I did demand an appointment with my own GP back in February after another Dr forgot to request my x- rays....until I had to remind him two and half months later!!
Anyway still couldn't actually see my GP to show her my leg , only a phone call app. She booked a hip x-ray, as she thought my problem could stem from there. She said she would get back to me and whatever the results she promised she would get to the cause.
Well that was Feb....still haven't heard, I half expected a call from her after the episode on Wednesday...but nope.

I will phone again tomorrow morning.....
