Its a Geum Borsii quite a long flowering plant if deadheaded . The blue are forget me nots nothing to do with me its how they self seeded around , unfortunately they smothered a penstemon garnet and it looks like its had it . The Geum are planted with Salvia Caradonna that's the planting partnership I intended they probably being flowering in two week time give or take a few days

@CanadianLori At the moment neither of us can remember the name. It survived over winter in that hanging basket (not even sure if it's supposed to be winter hardy) and is only about 3"-4" high. You can compare it to the bricks on the wall it is next to.

We shall continue to wrack our brains for the name.

@CanadianLori The bear of big brain (Mrs S.) has just remembered it.

It's Swan River Daisy - Brachycome iberidifolia - in the Aster family

In theory it's an annual but we had many more frosts than usual and it survived. :) The closeness to our wall may have helped.

Thanks Perki, I feared you'd say they were forget-me-nots (:heehee:), such a great plant for wildlife but so nightmarishly invasive, took me 2 years to eradicate it from my garden and it still pops up now and again! The geum and salvia will be an excellent colour combination, I also have 'Caradonna', one of those salvias that are ubiquitous but for good reason! :blue thumb: I wish my other nemorosa was doing as well, 'Blue Marvel' has already been devastated by slugs.

Aha. Yes, I had an aster there about 10 years ago and sadly it died. Perhaps mine is a small bit of it resurrected! Thank you Mrs. S!

Just came in from having lunch (Tuna Mayo Baguettes) on the front patio in the shade admiring the view. It is too hot on the Kitchen Patio and Lower Dining Patio.
