What are you growing

Different forum to this one……..but they are growing in pollys and greenhouses, but i wanted to ask for as much advice as possible, before embarking on the build after this summers bounty has been harvested.

 

It was a crazy spring this year, I agree, but any overwintered Brassicas will grow through that, maybe come a bit later, but will adapt.

 

Either you need to get out more or talk to more people

 

Purple sprouting broccoli is pretty tough, might need a net to keep the pigeons off and sparrows in a hard winter. My family grew it every year in Lincolnshire back in the 60s and 70s and I've grown it every year since, probably does less well in milder modern Devon winters than on the East coast.
I have heard of growing Chinese brassicas.
I would be interested to know more could you let me have a link to your sources.

Meh……18” will be enough, i dont want them huge, only two of us in the house
