Yes @Flumpy we have the same activity going on here in the fields around us to.... they seem a bit earlier this year I think. Perhaps they know something we don't.....we're in for a very damp summer ??, hope they're wrong!!

Thanks for reminding me what day it is @wiseowl, I never know I must remember to put the garden refuse bin out tonight.

Same activity in the fields here, tractors with headlights on late in the night. It's nice to see the fields after they've been cut.

Just got back from having my 2nd jab... the nurse was a bit heavy handed, it really hurt and stung this time around!! Unless I'm just overly sensitive at the moment.

 

that’s the same as me Upsydaisy, the first one was done near my TB scare, I didn’t feel a thing, but the second was done by a different women, she just sort of stabbed it lower down, it hurt and made me jump, some of them have only had a days training , hope you feel better tomorrow

 

Thanks @Flumpy ,my arm feels fine now it was just the initial inoculation bit that was painful.

She is one of our practice nurses and she did my 1st one as well.. All of them are fully trained at our surgery. Very strange how both experiences were totally different.

It's surprising how paperwork mounts up. Sometimes I have a clear-out but it seems I'm back to square one in no time at all.

I've just been down the garden for a walk with Bella cat, it was just starting to get light. Bella wanted to eat some grass and prowl along the hedgerow. After a while I came back in but she is still down there !

Thankfully I have a super organised hubs and he keeps on top of all paperwork and other related office/ study tasks. So we don't get a build up , all things are kept for their required time period or because they are definitely needed. ,everything else past its use by date is shredded.

Looking forward to passing over a fair chunk to our sons now they are all finally home owners. It's surprising how much we accumulated from just having them !!!!!!

It like some of their old toys and hobbies...they didn't want us to get rid of them, but now they have no excuse......take them and fill your own attics!!

Upsydaisy, my parent gave me my stuff this year when I mentioned I had a bigger attic I used to be a ballet dancer so kept all my dancing shoes and outfits as happy memories

it’s meant to stay dry today, so going to cut the lawn, trim shrubs back and also for the first time ever, shap boxwood (if that what it’s called) ?
