Rain showers and a gentle breeze from the north east temp 12c

 

I've measured 47mm of rain since Thursday night.

Enough is enough I hope.
I wouldn't mind so much if it was to brighten up between the rain, but it's just been totally dull all the time.

It appears to be trying to brighten up now, but it's a slow process.

 

We must have had a shower in the night, the place is wet. It's cool and cloudy this morning.

 

It is still grey and 20c. Had a drizzle earlier, Boy went out but quickly came back leaving footsteps in his wake. Now curled up asleep in his chair. Girl curled up asleep on the bed.

 

Nice and sunny now.

Sunny most of the day here on Anglesey but a cool wind keeping the temperature down to just 17c.

 

My right arm is pretty much out of action at the moment so I've not been around for a while and I'm typing this left handed (I'm right handed). I hope to be back fully in two to three weeks.

We haven't had rain for almost a month, it should have rained this afternoon and evening - but nothing as yet. So, dry and calm with threatening clouds. Temperatures have dropped over the last few days and today was 13C/55F.

Sunrise and sunset times came to a halt here a few days ago and will remain that way for another week. It's not getting totally dark overnight and at about 1 am the sky is beginning to lighten again in the east. The sun is shining as I type.

It's lovely here this morning, I just went down the garden for a walk with Bella cat, some fluffy clouds in the north-east were catching the sunshine and looking golden as the sun was coming up behind the mountain.

Grey but the sun is desperately trying it's hardest to shine.....but sadly I don't think it will today. We have light rain at the moment that is due to get heavier as the day progresses. High of 14C. Typical as we have roof work being done today.....it can still be done apparently, glad it's not me up there!!!

 

Quite warm where we are I thought, warm enough to not need a fleece when sitting outside. We went over to Beaumaris yesterday afternoon and then stopped at Benllech on way home for fish and chips. Did feel cooler on that side of the island. Hope you are enjoying Anglesey . Not so nice this morning, overcast and windy here
