Garden Edging for Lawn/Flowerbeds

Hey guys!

I've been creating flowerbeds, extending my lawn and creating a new pathway in the garden the past few years, but I am in need of edging.

I remember at my parents', I tried the plastic edging and it either snapped or lost form quite quickly so I'll stay away (the plastic that's wavy and not straight).

I've been looking at recycled plastic that's £90 for 20m but I don't really want to buy it if it's going to snap when we walk on it And metal edging is so expensive..

Ok, let's see everyone else's edging, please!

 

You can get concrete edging, but they have wavy tops and are probably expensive if you need lots. They last many years though.

 

I think I need about 20m in total.. I think I'll end up going with paving stones - just wanted to see my options as metal/plastic edging can be quite thin and subtle compared to sleepers or stones.

 

I agree, I gave up using plastic edging when I had lawns. Some people don't have anything, they just edge the lawn with a tool.

 

You can always put the wavy side down to get a flat top?

 

What about block or brick edging Kyle....
