It has endured all seasons during the past six years,..i have just started to take cuttings as i have become quite fond of it,..so just in case of an accident.

The garden is filling in rapidly just now and with all the rain it will suddenly sprout in all directions,.. its not easy to walk the paths with rain dropping off high plants.

You've got the sort of garden I like to see, full of interesting plants growing to their heart's content

It pays to take cuttings, you never know what will happen, best to have a backup ...

I took a cutting of a Cotinus coggygria 'Royal Purple',..stuck it in a pot and its only lately it came to my attention,..i have so many plants that its very easy to overlook some,..they can be hidden by tall plants.

First image,.. far left is the Cotinus.

My garden is similar, plants hiding plants, and I forget what's there. In fact there's no more room in the ground and any new plants have to go in pots .... and I've bought 11 in the past few weeks .... must stop buying !

            Cotinus is a lovely colour.

              Hi Victoria,..its not a big garden,..15 mtrs x 10 mtrs = 45 Ft x 30 Ft.

The path S Shaped and flowers on either side,..then there are two square sections apart from the path,..one close to the back door which is planted and another i use for working in at the end of the garden.

The section near the back door has most of the Lily bulbs/Phlox/Arum Lily and Cape Fuchsia,..four rose bushes,..Foxgloves and Musk Mallow,..lol thats the small section.

Not including the path is the images below.

I thought it was on the smaller side ... just a magical mystery tour going through it. I love it. We are probably about the same size. All of our garden is in front of our house. There is a dirt track/right of way to the back which is on our deeds. The dirt lane to one side where I have a border, and orange groves to the other side.

Edit Adding an aerial view a few years ago before we had the pollarding done.

Right across from my front door is where i got the cutting of that Cotinus coggygria 'Royal Purple',..every day i looked out my kitchen window i was tempted to get a cutting :)

There will be images to come that have the same blooms,..its an increase in blooms as the two plants compete as to giving off the best show,..there is of course the odd Foxglove amongst them,..this is just an expirement to see will they show or be dwarfted out of sight.
