Yes, just took the stitches out and said to continue to use Elugel for a week. In and out in a nano second. Thank you for asking.

 

@Victoria glad that everything is going well with you and your tooth extraction.

Hubby is doing well and eating normally now. It gets a bit sore when he sneezes and sometimes coughs.changed the dressing and it looks fine, no stitches on the outside and healing well. The stitches desolve on their own in ten days.

 

Thank you Logan. Best wishes for hubby's continued recovery. T'other Half knows someone who had that done and it is a "take it easy, don't do anything recovery".

Well, I've just received my first commission...

A neighbour has asked me if I would install a rear gate for them. I reckon they clocked my previous handy work - which is slightly disturbing as I am at best an enthusiastic amateur. But hey, why not give it a go? What could possibly go wrong?

 

Watched/listened to my beloved Corrie for 3 hours this morning. And whilst it was airing, I baked some baguettes, some chillie rolls, cherry tarts and bran muffins. I had to pause my show when I got a phone call. The kids KNOW not to call before 11 so I figured it was a telemarketer. I'm glad I picked up anyway because it was my doctor. It would have been tough explaining to him how Corrie ranked above him Besides I can pause the pvr so I don't miss anything.

Only had one load of laundry to do since I did most yesterday to hang in the lovely sunshine.

And now I am enjoying a cuppa or two before going a little earlier than usual to the pub and for an hour. They have large flat screen TV's on the patio because there is a soccer match airing at 3. It wouldn't be fair for me to take up one of the seats on the patio when someone who is keen on seeing the broadcast could use it so I will be out of there before the match starts.

 

We have a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs to stop the dogs going up them. Tonight I was at the top of the stairs and I decided to blow my nose as I was coming down them, got to the bottom lost my balance and went sideways hitting my arm on the banister, I won't do that again and hubby laughed and said fancy doing that. I'll probably have a bruise on my arm in the morning.

Yes it was, if anything had happened who would look after hubby after his op
My arm is alright just a bit of a lump, I should be more careful but I never think before I do things.
