WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

Air con is a bit of a stretch with solar, but we kept it on ´til about 6pm, when the sun´s angle was becoming too oblique. Batteries are at 90% and should last the night, temperature is back up to 30C indoors. Sun´s just dipped behind the western canyon rim at 7:30, it will calm down a bit now.

 

Mostly cloudy with some sun. It's also been humid with no hint of a breeze. 22C/72F

 

93f and humid. And I forgot to close jp the house so the air won't be turned on at this point.

 

Another warm day with light cloud in the afternoon, 27c.

Looking at their forecasts I see that the areas where our sons live..London and Hertfordshire are set for some thundery showers today...not keen on the thunder bit but a short ,sharp spell of rain would be most welcomed in the garden.

 

last time you mentioned this kind of thing it rained for 6 weeks.

Beautiful morning, solar batteries down to 59% overnight, must be a bit more careful with the air/con. Diva and I surveyed the morning from the patio, where a horse-whip snake was rapidly making itself scarce amongst the foliage. A large flying insect has just landed on the table and is glaring at me -- got to go ...

 

A bright and breezy start with 18c going to 29c continuing breezy.

The fires flared up again with the wind but they got it under control. I believe they are keeping fireman on guard until they are sure it is over. Our firemen are volunteers (Bombeiros Voluntários) whom we support.

Coming up to 10.30 and the thermometer already reads 28 C in the shady corner of the patio blazing hot in the sunshine

 

We have reached 29c and there is a very slight breeze but feels hotter.

 

Just come up to 32c,lots of thunder out to the east.
Wind picked up as well.
