Not much time for gardening or anything else at the moment. Dropped stock off at the Cemaes Bay shop on Saturday morning and had phone call in the afternoon to say it had all sold again :hate-shocked::hate-shocked::hate-shocked::hate-shocked:. I have had to divert the stock for the other shops to refill at Cemaes. I don't have anything else if it sells out again and nothing for the other shops now. Having to make stuff from scratch again but will be 2-3 weeks turn around on whatever I make. I knew ocean stuff is popular as sold the six pieces I made last summer, but wasn't expecting this kind of demand. I sold out a couple of weeks ago as well and had to jiggle stuff around between the shops. Delighted that it's going so well ( obviously ) but major stress now :phew::heehee:.

I did remove more sure fences pieces from the old bun run a couple of days ago, dead headed my dwarf buddleja and did watering, including topping up pond and mini ponds.

There is basically nothing to do in my garden at this time of year ... well at any time of year now! However my cuttings of Peach Oleander and Double Dark Pink "Chiffon" Hibiscus arrived today from Spain. There are two very large cuttings of the Oleander and 5 hard wood and 1 tip cuttings of the Hibiscus. I have decided to root them first in water so have put them on the coffee table out front where we sit so I can monitor them. Heavens only knows what I will do with them when/if they all root! :rolleyespink:

When we went to our friends on Saturday, I came back with two large cuttings of a dark Pink Double Oleander and I have just plopped them in the soil in the pot where I am nurturing my Pink Brugmansia which is next to my chair to monitor.

Yesterday I bit the bullet and chopped the rest of a few rhodys and glad I did. It can now regrow with much more light and I can keep on top of it having reclaimed a few meters of garden!
Was warm work though; today a bit more sedate hoeing before the heat gets unbearable

The guilt has set in now....off to do some deadheading......in whatever scrap of shade I can find.:)

Please no more posting on this thread today......my shame and guilt at being unproductive in the garden at the moment is overwhelming!!!

Past couple of days spent replacing wooden decking, that had begun to rot, with composite boards. Just got the old boards to tidy up, why they used 18ft long boards for the long runs escapes they are a right pain to manoeuvre and weigh more than enough.
This morning repotted a Leuchtenbergia princeps and potted up some Iochroma fuchsiodes, grown from seed this spring. Then picked raspberries and tomatoes.

I don't plan on doing anything Upsy ... and I don't feel guilty! :nonofinger:

What? Drinking this early in the morning? The heat has really got to you! :hate-shocked:

I am hoping mine will bloom this Summer from a rooted cutting. :fingers crossed: Thought it was being slow rooting although growing then realised it was shaded too much by the Myrtus "Tarentina" so cut it back.

Yesterday potted on Eryngium agavifolium and Aubrieta 'Blue Cascade'. The Cephalaria gigantea I potted on a couple of days ago already has a couple of new leaves, amazing how rapidly some plants can improve when they're in better conditions! :) I want to get decent at growing things in pots this year, have always been absolutely rubbish at it so the remainder of this week will mostly be spent potting things up!
