    Beautiful as always Philip.:love30:

I can fully sympathise this current problem in my right leg is really complaining in this heat too. We're in the low 30's here too......lovely as it is, we're just not use to it.
Take care and ..plenty of rest breaks.:dbgrtmb:

Another VERY warm day,..i had problems returning home again due to the heat,..close to the river area was not too bad as it was just a tad cooler but walking through the meadows it was hard to get ones breath,..walking through a heat haze and one could see it shimmering,..i will have to start earlier in the morning when its cooler though today i started at 11.30.

I love those wide summer skies ... Good idea to go out before it gets too hot. Siesta time in the afternoon lol
I don't go out in this heat, I stay in the house, it's too much for me. I went for a walk at 9 pm while it was still light but cooler.

Hi Upsydaisy,..i agree we got the intense heat suddenly,..were it a gradual increase we might have got used to it,..perhaps thats wishful thinking,..i wear the lightest cotton shirt when setting off with Foxy Molly,..on returning home i have to wash it as its soaking wet from perspiration,..thankfully the shirts dry out very quickly on the line,..sorry to read about your right leg,..of all limbs to give trouble its probably the most important,..take good care of it :)

Fabulous photos glengarry23, I thought I´d say hello as you liked my post which I mistakenly put into someone else´s thread, (humble apologies Victoria, could it be kicked out and put elsewhere?). I´m in Andalucia which certainly resembles Portugal more than the Home Counties.
The acequias are definitely a massive piece of work giving rise to some local humour :- "But apart from terracing the mountains and watering the lowland farms and gardens, bringing oranges and lemons and silk and architecture and science and astronomy and lovely recipes -- what have the Moslems ever done for us?" Apologies all round , again.

You must have sent vibes my direction,..i decided to take a cooler route this morning,..well more shade at least and it was less of an endurance walk,..Foxy Molly still had her Bum Dunking session,..she does it several times before deciding to walk further.

Came north along the river walk then through the woods to visit a friends house.

Hey, I think you need to have your own thread like Philip and I do ... you are so unique in your locale.
