Always hard to capture an image of the blooms below as the bush grows way too high to get close enough,..i do cut back every Autumn and again in late Spring,..it still grows high.

The rose is beautiful, pity it gets so tall, and the hydrangea is a lovely colour.
Poor Foxy Molly, she looks bewildered ... I hope she hasn't got any fleas now

Lovely rose and pretty colour Hydrangea. I had a curly Lavender colour one here but it didn't like the heat. Poor Foxy Molly. :cat-kittyandsmiley:

Hi Michael,..Foxy Molly took time to get over the episode,..just not used to being plonked in the bath :)

That rose bush grew by accident,..as its such a tall bush it has long straight branches so when pruning i decided to use one 3 mtr long branch as a support,..even lobbed off the thorns,..lo and behold the following spring it started to produce leaves,..i decided to keep it as it has a mate at the other end of the garden,..yep another tall bush.

Hi Victoria,..that was a beautiful Hydrangea,..it would be a full time job trying to keep it healthy in Portugal seeing its need for water is so high,..even here i have to keep watering my few constantly,..as for Foxy Molly and the Flea :),..something she has never had since i took her on board,..i could be wrong pointing the finger at Whisper giving the Flea as a gift,..however now i am Flea watching.

            That Leash on show.

Oh naughty Whisper if she was the guilty party. Even "dosed" regularly, both dogs and cats can get the nasty critters. I have had two cats get flea fever (Haemobartonellosis). First , Magic Sam got it and was seriously ill for six weeks (couldn't get up and had to feed him with an eye dropper). He was 17 but lived to be 20. Then Van got it two years ago and had to have a blood transfusion!!! Obviously he is fat and fine now.

@Victoria ,..hi Victoria,..i was thinking 'Whisper' because my previous dog 'Molly The Springer' always had Fleas,..she used to bed down with the cats or they would cuddle up beside her so they did a Flea exchange,..often,..as you said they get them anyway,..i didn't know they could do so much damage to pets,..poor Magic Sam and Van,..nice to know they recovered,..i hate the wee buggers as i always imagine one moving in on me,..so far they leave me alone,..mmmmmh i do eat lots of Garlic and Onions in my food

Morning Philip. The Peruvian Lillies are also known as Alstroemeria. We have two, a Burnt Orange one and a deep red one. They seem to suffer being in the direct heat of our sun all day so they had to be moved to where they get some shade. Several folk on here have them, I think Michael does. Here is Munch with one we many many years ago ...

No I have never grown Alstromeria, but I will have to do something about that !

Hi Victoria,..nice image of the baby Munch,..not forgetting the Alstroemeria.

Looking back at my home garden notes i did sow Alstroemeria but made the mistake of thinking they were weeds because i also sowed other Lily seeds and as they started to grow i could see that they were the Lily seedlings where as the Alstroemeria foliage was nothing like the Lily,..duh,..this time with the Rhizomes i couldn't make the same mistake,..however i was still puzzled by the foliage.

Well as @Michael Hewett doesn't have them,.. i am sure i spotted someone with them in the 'Whats Growing In The Months Thread :)
