WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

We are having a very showery summer, especially in the south this year Lori, lots of heavy showers keep forming.
It happens some years, last one I can remember this bad was 2011, but there has been others.

 

We've had a lovely summer day here, a few fluffy clouds and plenty of blue sky and warm sunshine

didn't feel as cold at 6am this morning.

 

If we can believe our forecast then we're in for a lovely sunny day with a high of 22C........

 

We are starting today with gusty winds with 21c going to 32c with the wind continuing. It feels nice and fresh. There are a couple of fires to the East nearer the Spanish border so these winds will not help control them.

 

Oh gosh Vicky that's not good, hope everyone remains safe. Is it in a residential area?

 

Typically it is in the "mata" scrubland. Rarely are they in residential areas ... but this is not to say there may be houses/farms in the area. It appears they have been put out now,

It's a glorious summer morning here in Carmarthenshire today, beautiful blue sky and warm sunshine and not even a breeze blowing.
I've been in the garden watering and deadheading, so now I think I'll have a nice coffee in the sunshine on the patio (and maybe a chocolate digestive ... or three ! )

Last night was warm too and Bella cat wouldn't come in. I went up the little back road at 3 a.m. to look for her and it felt as warm as day.

 

There is a scrub fire now up in Monchique slightly NW of us (we are the star left-ish of Foral) ... they are getting it under control but the wind is not helping coming from the NNW.

 

Seems like they got the fire resolved thankfully. It is 29c with us and still very windy but sat out in it for 30 minutes with the Cicadas singing. Now time for a cheese and Branston brown bread sandwich.
