Well its been reasonably sunny up till now , the wind is becoming the main feature along with some black clouds looming.
Looks like we will be back to square one from now on.
It struggled up to 22c for a while.

The grass was thick with dew this morning.
Autumn has come very early this year, I think it was tacked onto the end of spring.;)

Finally some rain here in Notts! Some of my 'boggy' plants are desperate for it and I transplanted my Persicaria bistorta 'Superba' yesterday to a shadier area, all this rain will help it to settle in to its new position. :) Think I might have to transplant my Lysimachia clethroides to a shadier spot too, the only other plant struggling in my new border. :frown:

Thanks Logan, your weather forecast seldom fails to cheer me up.
I´m covered in perspiration, the cicadas are louder than my tinnitus, and I´ve eaten too much pie. Paradise can be tough.

What a difference from yesterday, the weather has worsened as the day went on and we got lots of heavy showers with drizzle in between, and it feels chilly. It's quite autumnal all of a sudden.

@pete @Michael Hewett Hey, stop all this talk of Autumn please gents, it doesn't begin until the Equinox on the 22nd of September and that's that! :nonofinger::biggrin: This has been my favourite Summer for years actually, around 20c is perfect for 'heavy' gardening work!

We are still around 30c although the cicadas went to sleep. It is also still very gusty/windy but felt nice sitting out for a couple of hours, I am thankful there is no gardening to do ... just admire.

Sorry @Nikolaos I agree with Pete and Michael. Having returned late Monday from a week in Gloucester the weather here now is definitely autumnal. It was still summer when I left. :th scifD36: It's also raining. I'm not complaining, we've had a good summer with no rain to speak of for nine weeks and the garden needs it.

Today has been cloudy and humid with a shower of rain in the last hour. 20C/68F
