I have seeds for Dwarf Double Hollyhock but never got around to planting them. That is a pretty colour and a Double.

Glad you don't need to special Fudge much.

What I can see whilst seated at my computer

Rudbeckia 'cherokee sunset' and 'rustic dwarf'
Natural greenhouse shading is visible

      P1520617.JPG

On the climbing frame are Cobaea which have grown at least 12ft in six weeks after planting out. A very rewarding annual free climber that flowers until the frost.

The flower buds are a pretty shape
      P1520615.JPG

And when the flower first opens it is either white or green and quickly changes to a warm colour. This was day two of opening
      P1520619.JPG

      Day three
      P1520653.JPG

A friend of his has just opened - the spider was too shy to stop for a photo
      P1520655.JPG

Over the roof of the greenhouse some of our Lilac trees are visible but the flowers finished and we have pruned the trees - with a hedge cutter.
A Clematis had grown through one of the trees so we have left that bit for now

      P1520639.JPG

Some of last year's Nicotiana sylvestris survived the winter and ar now close to 7ft high

What's the flower in your last post before the hanging basket photos please, @shiney? I love the intricate flower structure and colours!

Echinacea 'Magnus', Lysimachia clethroides and Aster 'Monch'. Aster 'Professor Anton Kippenberg' looks like it's seriously going for it this year, the whole plant is just a sea of flower buds! Something very cheery about asters, isn't there? :)

Thanks, well that's my plan of sticking to perennials and biennials out the window! :rolleyespink::biggrin:

Might have to stop visiting this forum while I still have some actual space left in my garden... :roflol:

I knew it. Judging by the number of potting ons you must be keeping an army of Mrs Shineys. :heehee: ;)

It's Lysimachia clethroides (Gooseneck Loosestrife), Pete. :) It did look rather impressive until a couple of days ago when it got scorched and the leaves went red and the flowers fell to bits! :roflol: I think it just needs moving to a shadier spot, the front of a south-facing border is a bad idea for a plant that needs consistently moist soil!

I think they look glorious when they form an established clump!

That is a nice plant Nick, my soil is moist, this year, usually it pretty dry.
                    Shame it got scorched.
