WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

Thank you Logan. We are under a High Heat Warning for the next four days but are not in the path of what is coming from Africa, although the East Algarve is (we are Central). We are going down ... currently 31c! I would like to go out for an hour ... but staying in the cool.

 

@Victoria we are in the last day of a high heat/high humidity run of days. Very hard to get motivated to do much outside in this. It is 94f 60% humidity.

Tomorrow the guessers promise sunny and about 74f

I don't envy you. I dsliked the humidity in Alabama and South Carolina which could match the temperatures at times. When T'other Half checked the temperature earlier we were 33c and humidity 33%.

 

Same again partly sunny and very windy, 20c.
I think my brother is suffering, 38/43c in Volos in Greece, mover there two years ago from Crete and has an apartment with no air conditioning, just fans!!!!!! he is having it installed next week but a left it a bit late.

 

After reading/hearing all that I'm happy to be here in the rain, although the day has been sunny and warm. It's only raining tonight.

 

It's currently 40C/104F in British Columbia my daughter says. Added to that they are struggling with smoke and ash from the wildfires.

Here we're going in the opposite direction, very windy and wet for the last couple of days. That has brought the temperature down to 15C/59F today, with overnight temperatures now in single figures. The heating is on this evening.

We've got soft gentle rain this morning. The forecasters say it will dry out later but I don't think we're going to see the sun today .... so since everything will be wet it looks like a non-gardening day for me (maybe I'll visit a garden centre, I need a pot for my new Hebe - no more room in the garden !)

We are starting today with hazy sunshine and 25c. They say we are going to 31c today but I suspect it will be more like yesterday with 33-34c. We kept the ceiling fan going all night. I am not looking forward to the next few days with the windows shut and a/c on (goes on about 2.30pm). Thankfully this is not the norm here. There are a lot of Brits in Eastern Algarve (live there because it is a hop, skip and jump to Spain) and they will probably hit 40c today.
