    Definitely weeds, but difficult to eradicate.
    Especially the white one.

        Echinops tjanschanicus Although colour is not dramatic it has a pleasant smell and the bees and hoverflies love it.

                Echinops, probably my favourite plants are starting to open their flowers. This has been a very good year for them, the plants are 2m tall and the first flower is nearly tennis ball size. Bees love them :)

                      LOL You beat me to it Vicky, was just about to ask @pete what it was, it's fantastic! :biggrin: The only other Osteospermum type I like are the spoon-petalled cultivars.

                        DSC01585.JPG Its Osteospermum purple sun, I've got it in the same pot as some really bright Nemesia.

                        I can remember Osteos, when they were only open on sunny days, thankfully that appears to have been almost bred out of them.

                            The best I could do as they refused to all face the camera. I guess being a tower of a woman just isn't enough for garden photography as I had to get up on a ladder and hold the phone over my head..:doh:

                                Are the plants grafted or are the stems twined around one another.
