      A pleasant 18c this morning with a light breeze going to 27c. We went to 31c yesterday but there was a nice breeze.

                By late afternoon yesterday, it was 98f with high humidity. This morning 67f, felt dampish out there and the guessers have told us that we will be experiencing the same as yesterday. And the same going forward for another 4 or 5 days. With that in mind, I've turned on the bigger sprinkler system to water the bits of lawn here and there and give the gardens a good soaking.

                          They have really gone OTT regarding thunder warnings, I can only guess that in this very, mamby pamby society which we now live in , if they don't forecast lightning and somebody gets stuck, the met office will leave themselves open for a compensation claim.

                          It's been reasonably warm here with hazy sun and no wind.
